A Final Reflection
This class has likely been one of the hardest classes I have taken at Hunter, astonishing for a 100 level class. This class is not difficult because of the material it covers, rather the organization and the planning of time for each assignment. The T.A.'s who all seem to be absolutely great seemed to be completely disconnected with the Professors. The Professors who seem to be very knowlegable seem afraid to voice things to their students or simply wait untill the day before an exam or quiz to inform you of what is on the quiz. The class did not teach me very much, rather I taught myself everything in this class. I taught myself Photoshop, I taught myself Final Cut, I taught myself how to use the camera's. Overall, this class was a failure. An unfortunate occurance for such an important basic class. Hopefully, you guys will get it right for next semester.

Finished the Stamp.
Today I finalized making this stamp and I have to say I am pretty proud of it! Photoshop was tricky but after playing around on it a lot I think I got a pretty good hang on it. I will post my stamp in a seperate post...if I can figure out how to post my stamp on this page!

Photoshop Worktime
Today I spent sometime playing around on Photoshop. Luckily for me my girlfriend is a photoshop pro and uses it everyday for her school work so she was able to help me out a little and learning some cool things on photoshop to help me out on my stamp! I decided in class the other day that I would do my stamp on my favorite college sports team, Syracuse University. I also decided that I was going to do it on their basketball team in anticpation for their upcoming season. So far it is coming along pretty good, but im still adjusting to using photoshop. Hopefully I will be fully finished by Wednesday!!
Artist Statement
I am from a small town in upstate New York, where everyone knows everyone. The town and the community are like a giant family. A town where town pride is everything to everyone. It is a small town known as Owego New York.
Because of the small town spirit sports become everything to the community. Because of this sports has become everything to the community. And growing up in this town sports has become everything to me. Because of the pride behind sports in this town sports have become my interest, my passion.
And even though I have now left that small town, Owego still is in me. I still check back on how the sports teams are doing there. The sports culture will always live inside of me no matter where my life takes me.
Because of thism all sports live within me. I watch sports, talk about sports, analyze sports and dream to capture sports. The ultimate goal and dream is to one day be on television talking, and analyzing sports, and broadcasting my passion for sports to the world. And to end up being on a channel like ESPN.
